Growing up as a University of Texas fan, it’s fair to say sports are a pretty big deal to her, but she’s known she’s wanted to work in the sports broadcasting industry for as long as she can remember.
She worked at WVUA 23 in Tuscaloosa as a reporter and producer in both the news and sports departments during her tenure at Alabama. When coming to her education, she received a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication and film from the University of Alabama, with minors in communication studies and sports journalism.
She kept busy covering Alabama football, and election nights, and even filling in as an anchor, gaining valuable experience that will assist her in telling the stories of the Tennessee Valley. Olivia enjoys going to sporting events, particularly those involving the Alabama and Atlanta teams, hanging out with her friends and family, and trying out new restaurants in her spare time.
