His journalism career started in Brockport where he worked at a small, day-timer radio station in 1987. He also worked as a disc jockeyed, and salesperson, and eventually, he secured a job at WASB where he served as a News Director. He later discovered his passion for visual storytelling while he worked in Canandaigua, Warsaw, and Rochester on local radio.
Ever since joining WGRZ, he has served in posts such as weekend anchor, general assignment reporter, and as Daybreak anchor. His journalism career has won him two Emmy Awards, an Associated Press Award, and a regional Edward R. Murrow Award. In addition, he was among the Daybreak team that won an Emmy for best morning newscast.
