Flores joined ESPB in the year 2005 and he got his first role as ESPNews anchor. There he has also worked as an anchor for ESPN’s SportsCenter and ESPNEWS from 2007 to 2016. During Saturday Night Football and ABC College Football games, he was responsible for providing updates from the studio.
He also filled in as a host for ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights and was part of the afternoon edition of SportsCenter, which aired from 12 PM to 3 PM. In the year 2006, when Flores was a co-anchor of ESPNEWS with Danyelle Sargent, Danyelle made a well-known statement “What the heck was that” because of technical issues. Flores had been fired before for saying the same bad word on TV in the year 2004 when he served at KEYE in Austin, Texas, but it was during a taped segment that wasn’t supposed to be shown. Then, in March 2015, he said something on SportsCenter that got him into trouble. He commented that Iggy Azalea was not doing good for hip-hop. This caused arguments between him and Nick Young (NBA shooting guard), who was dating Iggy Azalea at that time.
