He won an IBNA (Iowa Broadcast News Association) award for his outstanding work while he was in Des Moines, Iowa.
He previously worked at KLEW, the CBS affiliate in Lewiston, Idaho. In addition, he has worked at the Honolulu Advertiser newspapers and the Orange County Register. Prior to working in Southern California anchoring and reporting for Comcast Cable.
In the Light Feature category in the Florida Associated Press of Broadcasters in 2016, he won the award and later in 2020, from the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists. Furthermore, he won first place for best Series/Franchise reporting in 2019, and the two organizations respectively also awarded him in 2020.
During his leisure time, he enjoys politics, horse racing, watching his beloved Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on the Internet, watching Westerns, and working out.
