Kelly began her life at KUTV in Salt Lake City early in the morning before she moved to KOVR CBS13/CW31 at the first-morning show in the Californian city of Sacramento, Good Day Sacramento. During the week, Kelly reported local news events and news features and anchored the morning show at the weekend.
