Prior to his time in Sacramento, Hill served as a Multimedia Journalist at KFOX14 in El Paso, Texas, for four years, from June 2015 to June 2019.
Hill also had the opportunity to work as a News Anchor/Reporter at KAET Cronkite News in Phoenix, Arizona, from January 2015 to May 2015. Before his professional career took off, Hill gained experience as a Freelance Production Assistant at Pac-12 Network and as a Student Reporter at azcentral.com, both in Phoenix, Arizona.

He likes doing volunteer work during his spare time. He volunteered at Ronald McDonald House of Charities of St. Petersburg for 2 years and 3 months (June 2008 – August 2010).
