Sean Coffey is an American sports anchor, reporter, and news anchor currently working at WBRE in Erie, Pennsylvania. He joined the station in August 2020 anchoring during weekdays from 4:30 to 7 am and 5 to 7 am on WYOU and the 12 pm show on WYOU.

Coffey joined the Eyewitness News team to lead the station’s Williamsport Bureau in 2020. He later in March 2021 moved to the anchor desk. Prior to joining WBRE, he was working in Victoria, Texas in both news and sports areas since 2018. During his time there, he reported the 2019 World Series, elections, as well as severe storms.

He is a proud 2017 graduate of William & Virginia where he graduated with a major in English and a minor in Marketing. In addition, he did play-by-play for the Tribe’s men’s and women’s soccer teams and baseball teams alongside sideline reporting during his time at William & Mary College. Apart from reporting, he is was a campus tour guide and a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity.
