Before joining Newsmax, he served on CBS affiliate WTSP 10 News in market 11 Tampa, Florida as a morning news anchor. While he was in WTSP in Tampa, Florida, he covered everything from a red state with two Republican senators and a Republican governor for the first time in over a century to major hurricanes to Florida’s transition from a swing state.

After college, the first job he was able to secure was in Boston at WEEI Sports Radio where he hosted the Red Sox Pre-Game Show and the Celtics Halftime Show. Later on, he shifted from radio to television when he began working at NBC’s NECN as a sports anchor and reporter. While he was at NBC’s NECN, he covered the biggest events in sports including the NBA Finals and the World Series.

His true passion had always been in news and politics and in 2013 he was able to secure a job at KBAK/KBFX in Bakersfield, California. While in KBAK/KBFX, he served as a morning anchor, and later on, he quickly became the go-to talent for political coverage. He had the privilege of being the only anchor who was allowed into the Santa Monica, California apartment where notorious South Boston gangster James “Whitey” Bulger lived while he was on the run from the FBI.

In addition, he was able to interview celebrities, newsmakers, and other movers and shakers when he worked at KCTV as a morning anchor and host of its daily talk show “Better Kansas City.” When coming to his education, he attended Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut where he studied communication.
