She started her journalism career in Charleston, West Virginia, where she worked for WOWK-TV as a news reporter, and later became the news anchor for the 6:00 and 11:00 p.m. news at WSAZ. She spent 11 years (1988-1999) at WSAZ. While there, she received recognition from the West Virginia Associated Press for her work as a reporter.
Afterward, she moved to Cincinnati and worked as a co-host for the morning news program at WXIX – FOX 19, for 14 years (1999 – 2013). After that, she now joined Sinclair Broadcast Group.
