Sonja Morgan (real name – Sonja Tremont) is an American TV Personality, Actress, and Entrepreneur well-known for appearing in several shows and films such as “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy” and “Uber Eats: Money Can Buy You Class”. The other shows she has starred in include “The Real Housewives of New York City”, “The Marsh”, “Difficult People”, “The Man in the Attic”, “Ex-Housewife”, and “The Housewives of the North Pole”.
Morgan is a proud 1985 alumnus of the Fashion Institute of Technology, where her field of study was Marketing, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. As a businesswoman, she started “Sonja Morgan New York”, a fashion line, in the year 2015, and she sells her merch online and at the Vanessa Noel store on East 64th Street. There she provides a range of high-end fashions at attractive prices. Before Century 21 went bankrupt in the year 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Sonja’s line also sold its merch there. Back in the ’80s and ’90s, Sonja did various jobs in high-end Manhattan restaurants, working as an event planner, interior director, and hostess.
In the year 2017, Morgan introduced her heritage brand shoe line, Sonja Morgan by French Sole. The next year, her empire grew with the debut of Sonja by Sonja Morgan, offering a curated selection of affordable fashions and accessories, all priced under $150. Morgan also owns a production company, Sonja Productions. With the company, she has produced her live show, “Sonja In Your City”.

Besides appearing on TV and being an entrepreneur, Morgan is also a generous philanthropist, supporting charities for kids, animal rights, arts, and LGBTQ+ rights. She emcees burlesque and cabaret events called “Sonja in the City”, raising funds for charity. In the year 1990, she got the Singular Sensation Award at the St. Regis Hotel for her work with Vanessa Noel and Mira Sorvino. Sonja got arrested in the year 2010 in Southampton Village. She was caught driving under the influence (DWI) after not stopping at a stop sign. A Southampton Village officer pulled her over. Sources mentioned that she had been partying on the East End during the Memorial Day weekend. After not doing well on some tests to check if she was okay to drive, she refused to take a Breathalyzer test. The police took her to the local police headquarters, and she was charged with DWI.

The Huffington Post report on October 13, 2016, talked about Sonja regarding claims of sexual misconduct made by Lisa Boyne against Trump (the then-United States Pres.) Lisa stated that Sonja invited her to dinner with the president, as well as with John Casablancas (modeling agent) and some other 6 or 5 models. Boyne claimed that Donald Trump had the models walk across the table, and confirm on whether they were wearing underwear. Sonja confirmed to The Huffington Post that the dinner happened with those people but didn’t remember Donald Trump behaving inappropriately. She mentioned, “But I have been known to dance on tables.”
