When coming to his education, he is a grad of the University of Minnesota, where he obtained degrees in journalism and business. When not reporting, Steve loves tinkering with electronics, hitting the gym, hiking mountains, and scuba diving.
He is also an authority on survival in the wilderness, and an Eagle Scout. If you ever see him out on a story, feel free to go up and say “hello,” but be warned bad guys, Steve has a mixed-martial-arts second-degree black belt and has been doing karate since he was just 5 years old.
