Cort is committed to community service and has been on numerous boards including The Hershey Theatre, Children’s Miracle Network, The Hershey Symphony Orchestra, The Downtown Hershey Association, and The Hershey Rotary Club. She was a founding member and chair of this community theatre at Hershey Area Playhouse.
Cort also helped in the leadership of Hershey All Things Diversity. Between 2016 and 2021, she worked as a Derry Township supervisor. The YWCA of Greater Harrisburg awarded her its Women of Excellence Award. Further, she received the Women of Influence Award from the Central Penn Business Journal.
The Westfield native works as a vocalist with the Hershey Symphony Big Band and has performed in numerous community theatre productions. Further, she has lived in the Midwest for over 3 decades.
