Sydney is glad to be returning closer to home after three years as an anchor and multi-media journalist in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Sydney, an Arizona native, grew up skiing in Deer Valley and has spent many summers in Park City, avoiding the heat of Arizona. She is ecstatic to be a part of Utah’s home! While at Myrtle Beach, Sydney covered a wide range of stories. She spent weeks covering Hurricanes Matthew, Irma, and Florence before, during, and after they hit.
She also covered a horrific mass shooting in Florence, South Carolina, that claimed the lives of two police officers. In between, there were many positive stories in which Sydney was able to highlight amazing people in the community. She had a great time touring the East Coast and sampling traditional southern fares like chicken bog and creamy grits.
Her passion for narrative began at a young age, and she describes herself as a news junkie. Glenn enjoys traveling, volunteering, spending time with friends and family, and bargain shopping when she is not at work.
