Alongside a minor in Geography and a G.I.S. Certificate, these studies equipped him with the tools to follow his passion for weather and connect with and assist others. After graduation, he worked for a law firm in New York, serving as a weather consultant for cases involving weather-related issues. This role included gathering data from the National Climatic Data Center and preparing memorandums for legal arguments.
However, the attraction of being in front of the camera proved too strong, leading him to embark on his on-air career with WNEM-TV5 in Saginaw, MI. Surviving the cold winters, He eventually found his way to the Carolinas, spending seven years with FOX Carolina in Greenville, SC. He began as the weekend Meteorologist and later transitioned to the role of Morning Anchor.
During his tenure, he covered not only severe weather but also reported on tropical systems affecting the Carolina Coast, including hurricanes Matthew and Florence. His field reports aimed to keep residents and viewers informed and safe throughout the lifespan and impact of each storm. In recognition of his commitment, he joined the National Weather Association and earned the NWA Television/Radio Seal of Approval in December 2016. Outside of work, whether he is breaking a sweat in the gym, hosting his podcast, or enjoying outings with his wife and Bruno.
