Seven feet of lake-effect snow fell on parts of the area in a few days thus crippling cities and towns. Also, she broadcasted the famed“carcicle” in early 2016 that made national headlines. Waves from Lake Erie had washed up over a car parked in a lot near the shore and left several inches of ice coating it.
Additionally, she loved her time playing the fiddle in Buffalo alongside the band Ten Cent Howl and opening for Frankie Ballard, a Battle Creek native, at a show in the city. She has also served as an evening anchor in Youngstown, Ohio, where her husband was the sports anchor.
Her broadcasting career began in Nashville, Tenn where he worked at WKRN-TV. For two years, she served as a traffic anchor and later a morning reporter, covering the historic flood of 2010. Furthermore, One of her production assistant internships was at CNN American Morning.
