While there, he reported in the mornings what was happening in the area and created new weather banners for StormTracker Weather branding. He also produced and anchored weekend weather broadcasts, and gave speeches about weather to community organizations and local schools.

Before joining WBNG TV 12, he worked as a Chief Meteorologist in Watertown and also worked as a Weather Producer and fill-in Meteorologist in Rochester. O’Hare is a holder of the Society Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Designation(CBM) and is a member of the American Meteorological Society.
