Besides working for WTOK, he has been working for Collegian Television 11 as a Sports anchor and reporter since August 2018. Collegian Television 11 (CTV) is Colorado State University’s on-campus television station. One year after joining CTV, he worked as a producer and anchor of the CTV Sports show and covered Colorado State athletics until his graduation from the university.
Bird has always loved sports since he was young. Growing up, he used to play tennis and baseball. Besides being passionate about sports, he also had a passion for public speaking. At WTOK, he focuses mainly on news and assists in high school football coverage. He says that his favorite part of his job is that he gets to tell stories that connect people. He adds that being able to get the opportunity to see high school football in the south is an added benefit to him.
Bird has worked for DNVR in Denver, Colorado as an intern for 2 years (June 2019 – May 2021). He has also served at Boondocks Food & Fun in Parker, Colorado as a Server for 2 months (June 2019 – July 2019). In addition, he has worked for Waterway Gas & Wash in Foxfield, Colorado as a Line Associate and Service Consultant for 2 and a half years (March 2016 – August 2018).
During his leisure time, he likes to work out on his body fitness, play video games, watch his favorite TV shows like The Challenge, Game of Thrones, and Parks and Rec, or spend time with his loved ones (family and friends). Bird’s favorite sports are basketball and baseball. He is so much into anime! He says that it is thrilling and delightful to know more about Meridian and the surrounding areas.
