He received the Mid-Atlantic Emmy for Sportscast in 2016 and in 2018, won a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters’ Award for Outstanding Coverage of a Local Sporting Event. Donatoni was named Montana TV Sportscaster of the Year runner-up in 2011. He was also nominated six times for Emmy awards.
