When he first joined the WGRZ-TV news team, his first job was the Sabres introduced Lindy Ruff as head coach. While in Buffalo, he has covered everything from the Sabre’s numerous playoff runs, a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1999, to the Bills.
In his journalism career, he has received many awards including four Emmy nominations, a Best of Gannett for sports anchoring and reporting in 2006, an Associated Press first-place award for his coverage of the Sabres season-opening trip to Europe in 2011, and two Edward R. Murrow regional award for sports reporting.
Bridgewater, Massachusetts is his native home. Furthermore, he has also worked as a radio color commentator for the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League during his time in Central New York.
