Dugan began her career after completing her education at Texas State University when she was selected as, “America’s Next Top Co-Host.” She then jumped aboard the popular morning show “Orange Juice and Biscuits” on KTSW-89.9 FM.
Dugan became the host of her own morning program, “Rise N Shine,” in less than two years after making her mark in radio. She was named one of the Top 5 Finalists in the annual CW Star Search five months after receiving her degree. She was selected as the 2011 CW Austin Star, it was an opportunity of her lifetime which came after finishing several “challenges” in combination with online votes.
As a new star of The CW Austin, she took the role of working as the voice, face, and personality of the station, and over the years she represented the station in social media, on-air, and at various events around Austin. Celebrities such as Will Ferrell, Conan O’Brien, Jodi Foster, Kristen Wiig, Perez Hilton, Molly Shannon, and many more have been interviewed by her.
Dugan always wanted to work on camera and as the end of her reign, as The CW Star approached, she took the opportunity to join KXAN News which was the No., 1-morning news team, in Austin as the Morning Traffic Reporter. She likes enjoying her afternoons reading a good book, exploring Austin, and also going to Barton Springs Pool.
