Rupinta serves as the 4:00 and 5:00 evening anchor at ABC11 Eyewitness News.  On joining the station, she started off by serving as the weekend morning co-anchor for five years and later on started serving as the morning anchor for about 8 years prior to joining the evening team.

She enclosed various hurricanes; Presidential candidates Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Hillary Clinton battling for N.C. voters; the Carthage nursing home massacre that killed 8 people; the Conagra plant explosion; and a terrorist attack at UNC-CH.

Prior to working at ABC 11, she previously worked at the NBC affiliate in Philadelphia/WCAU where she served as a reporter and anchor. Prior to that, she worked at WHAG in Hagerstown, MD where she also served as an anchor. She started her TV career working at WJZ in Baltimore prior to serving as a reporter on the Baltimore Sun High School Sports Show.

Rupinta is also an active member of the National Weather Association, and the Asian-American Journalists Association, and is also a graduate of Towson University. Whenever she is not busy working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
