Schwenneker serves as the morning and noon meteorologist at ABC11 Eyewitness News in the morning.  He is also the owner of the Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association and the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal from the American Meteorological Society. In addition to that, he was awarded two Associated Press Awards for Best Weathercast.

Prior to his tenure at ABC 11, Schwenneker worked at WBBM-TV in Chicago where he served as a meteorologist from January 2008 to January 2011. Before joining WBBM-TV, he worked at WTAJ-TV in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh where he also served as a reporter. He started his TV career at KBIM-TV in Roswell, New Mexico where he served as the lead forecaster.

Schwenneker went to Mississippi State University where he attained his Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology. He is also very active when t comes to helping out in the community and volunteers as a firefighter in Pennsylvania. In addition to that, he is also a certified rescue technician & first responder. Whenever he is free, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
