In her 11 years at the station, she won two Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Broadcasting Arts and Sciences for ‘best weathercaster’. She is a 1990 Hamilton Southeastern High School alum. She went to Indiana University from Hamilton County for a degree in Business. It wasn’t her passion here. Her love is the atmosphere.

Angela served at the National Weather Service in Indianapolis while in college. Her first TV assignment was in West Lafayette, Indiana, on WLFI-TV 18. From there, she spent four years in Sacramento, California, predicting the temperature. In 2001, she returned home to central Indiana, and her forecast earned her five Emmy awards. When coming to her education, she called Chuck Lofton at the behest of her friends, who urged her to change her major. She graduated with a degree in Atmospheric Science from Purdue University.
