Before joining WTOP, Kramer worked for WBAL Radio from June 1996 to April 2021 as the Radio morning drive anchor and reporter. While working for WBAL Radio, she anchored radio newscasts from 5 am to 9 am every 30 minutes for major market radio stations and made editorial decisions for what stories would be covered each day. In addition to this, she was responsible for researching, writing, and producing original content for newscasts, experienced in conducting live and recorded interviews with public figures and newsmakers. Furthermore, Anne had extensive experience covering all types of news including local crime, education, and political campaigns. She was also responsible for writing news stories for the station website, Facebook, and Twitter.

Previously, Anne worked as a Freelance Producer for Wavelength Podcast for WYPR in Baltimore MD from February 2022 to June 2022. In 2007, she won the National Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting and also won the Regional Edward R. Murrow Award in 1997 for Investigative Reporting.

Kramer started her career in Baltimore, Maryland, United States at WPOC Radio as the reporter anchor from November 1994 to June 1996.
