Before joining 9NEWS, she contributed significantly to KYTX CBS19 in Tyler, Texas, where she served as a Sports Anchor for nearly two years from September 2021 to July 2023 and also held roles as Producer/Host for three years and an intern. Moore’s journey in the field began with internships at WTOL11 in Toledo, Ohio, and 13 ABC (Disney) in Houston, Texas.
He honed her skills as a Sports Reporter/Photographer at the Newhouse Sports Media Center in Syracuse, New York. Additionally, Moore ventured into radio at ESPN Radio in Houston, Texas, where she interned and later served as the Producer/Host of “The Locker Room” at Coogradio.
Throughout her career, she talked about lots of stories. When she was at KYTX, Moore spent a long time reporting on some of the most wanted athletes in the country from her old school, Longview, and the nearby schools. Away from journalism, Moore has been volunteering for the Lone Star Emmy Awards since October 2014.
Moore developed a love for sports when she was really young. She played basketball and really wanted to play football in high school, but her mom said no. That’s why she’s excited about the arrival of high school flag football in Colorado. Here’s a fun fact: Moore’s small-town high school, Longview, sent the most football players to the NFL out of any school in Texas. So, she really knows her stuff!
