He was on the ground covering Hurricane Laura, Hurricane Delta, Hurricane Sally, and Hurricane Zeta in Louisiana and Mississippi. For 16 hours, he provided continuous broadcasts as Hurricane Ida made landfall in 2021 for both his station and other local NBC-affiliated stations in nearby markets.
