Brek grew raised in Taylorsville, Utah. Bolton developed an interest in weather when in junior high school when he joined a meteorological class given by Clayton Brough, a well-known weathercaster. Brek was enthralled by extreme weather and Utah’s spectacular snowstorms.
While working for many local news stations in the area, Brek has nearly two decades of experience forecasting Utah’s distinct weather. He’s excited to be a part of the Fox 13 weather team, which includes people with a lot of experience.
