Morgan serves at WDBJ 7 News as a sports director. She began as a multimedia journalist at the station then transitioned to weekend morning sports anchor in November 2021, and then to weekend evening anchor. Before joining WDBJ-TV, she worked for WTAP-TV in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Morgan started her journalism career as a Weekend Multimedia Journalist at WTAP News. She then moved on to anchor WTAP’s morning news and produce and anchor the Noon news starting in July 2019. She won an Ohio Associated Press Media Editors award for her incredible work as an anchor in the year 2020. Additionally, Morgan spent 2 seasons as the sideline reporter for WTAP’s live high school football broadcasts called “Football Frenzy Overtime”.
Before joining WTAP, Brittany worked for five years as a performer at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Hanover, Maryland. She also worked in the Entertainment Department of the Washington Nationals during the 2017 and 2018 baseball seasons.
