She initially joined the station in 2016 but she left in around 2020 for WeatherNation in Denver, Colorado. However, she returned to WBIR-TV in September 2023.

She says that she loved working at WeatherNation and had a great time living in Colorado. She hiked 14,000-foot mountains and experienced winter like never before. However, she missed the Southeast and she is thankful for the chance to return and work at WBIR again.
