Before joining WKRG, she worked for WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee as a news anchor. During her time at WKRN, she was involved in some of the city’s most important news stories. These stories were so significant that they were talked about all across the country. They included events like when they caught the person who had done a shooting at a Waffle House and when Nashville’s old Mayor decided to quit.

Lombard was in charge of the WKRN team that paid attention to the Nashville skyline as it grew. She was on the field during the CMA Fest and the Nashville Predators’ journey to the Stanley Cup. At CMA Fest, she collaborated with famous people like Hayley Orrantia, Luke Bryan, and the Property Brothers. She has served as a host of the CMA Awards after-party live for 2 years. During those parties, she talked to some of the most well-known people in the Country Music industry, like Chris Stapleton, Garth Brooks, Little Big Town, and Keith Urban.

When she was going to the South, she got a job at WABB FM in the year 2001. She worked hard and moved up in the radio station. It didn’t take long before she became the 1st female co-host for the morning show at the famous radio station. She was part of the “Matt, Jay, and Cherish” team.

Lombard loves dedicating her time to any volunteer work when she is free. She has served at several non-profit organizations: Susan G. Komen, Girl Scouts of America, the March of Dimes, Boy Scouts, the American Cancer Society, Prevent Child Abuse America, Read Across America at different schools, and the American Heart Association.

When it comes to her education, Lombard is a proud 2004 alumnus of the University of South Alabama, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Elementary Education. Lombard is also an alumnus of Murphy High School.

Lombrad stated that it hurt really bad, and she had to stay in the hospital for about a week. Even after leaving the hospital, doctors watched over her closely. In her announcement, she was really grateful for all the kind messages from viewers.
