Before joining WKRG, she served at KNWA – Fox 24 News in Fayetteville, Arkansas as a morning reporter for 2 years (2016 – 2018). There she reported on important news stories and enjoyed covering exciting community events.
Winter started her career at KLST News in San Angelo, Texas, where she served as a weekend news anchor. She worked there for two years from 2014 to 2016. During that time, she found a passion for Tex-Mex food and reported on interesting events like flying in the Goodyear Blimp, border safety in the United States, and the Rattlesnake Round-up. Winter has also worked for WUFT-TV and WUFT-FM in Gainesville, Florida as a news reporter.
During her college days, she did an internship at Fox 35. During her time there, she reported on the NALEO convention, the case of George Zimmerman, and the FAMU hazing scandal. Winter also interned at Real Radio 104.1 with the Monsters in the Morning show, where she played a role in starting the Monsters in the Morning Interns Podcast.
