Nallan joined the AccuWeather Network in May 2019 and is excited to be a part of such a prestigious weather organization. Prior to joining AccuWeather, he worked as a meteorologist and science-based reporter for CBS 21 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Chris began his broadcast career as a weekend meteorologist and environmental reporter at Binghamton, New York’s WICZ-TV.
Chris moved from blizzards to scorching heat in Tucson, AZ, where he worked as a morning meteorologist for KVOA-TV. Following Arizona, he drove 2,400 miles across the country to News 12 Long Island to chronicle Hurricane Sandy’s devastation. After he graduated from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland, with a B.S. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Chris took full advantage of being near the sea because he was only a few minutes away. Chris served as a weather producer intern at WBOC-TV in Salisbury, where he improved his forecasting skills.
Aside from forecasting and broadcasting weather, you may find him enjoying golf, hiking, kayaking, spending time with friends and family during the warmer months, or simply taking in the sheer beauty of nature. He’s also a die-hard Yankee and Penn State supporter.
