While in college, he worked for Indiana Public Radio in Muncie, Indiana as a Student Reporter for 1 year and 9 months. Butler has interned at WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 4 months (May 2012 – Aug 2012). In addition, Butler has worked as a reporter at NewsWatch for 1 year and 1 month.
