Since joining the station, she has covered significant stories including Prince Harry’s visit to Toronto in the year 2016 for the promotion of the 2017 Invictus Games. Also, she did reports on the win of the 2015 federal election by former Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair to Member of Parliament representing Scarborough Southwest. Additionally, in April of 2016, Heels covered the scaffolding collapse at Eglinton and Bathurst that injured 7 people. 

She started her broadcasting career in the year 2007 at a radio station. From there, he now switched to TV at CTV Northern Ontario in Sudbury and North Bay in the year 2008. After that, Heels moved to CTV Barrie in the year 2011, where he wore many hats; weather specialist, reporter, anchor, videographer, producer. She spent 4 years there.
