Dan exposed corruption and abuse with more than a dozen exclusive stories that helped turn the tide toward closing down the island over the next 10 years. Mannarino has volunteered for Camp New Day in New Jersey since 2003, partnering with adults who are delayed in progress, a cause close and dear to his heart. In 2017, Dan became a co-founder and vice-president of the Circle Up Foundation, a non-profit charity whose mission is to bring joy and dignity to the nationwide special needs community.
