When she was in the eighth grade, a local meteorologist visited her school to talk about whether, and henceforth she made a decision that she would also be a meteorologist. When coming to her education, she studied atmospheric science at Cornell University. Later on, she made stops in Oklahoma City, Boston, Dallas, Salisbury, and lastly, she settled for Nashville.
She has the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal, which is the highest seal a meteorologist can have. In addition, she is currently on the American Meteorological Society Board of Broadcasts. In 2020, she was named one of Nashville Business Journal’s 40 under 40. Her topmost priority during her leisure time is to give back to the community and is the Nashville St. Jude Dream Home Campaign spokesperson.
She is greatly indulged with the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, and the Nashville Humane Association. In addition, she enjoys visiting schools and encouraging students to pursue math and science careers.
