Further, she moved to Phoenix and worked in live TV production for the Alliance of American Football and Spectrum Sportsnet LA for Dodgers Spring Training. Following ST, she moved to OKC to work at Fox 25 covering Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, the Thunder, the Energy, the OKC Dodgers, and high school teams.

Dwyer is well-versed in shooting, writing, editing, producing, reporting, anchoring, and hosting. She has covered sports at every level from high school, college, minor league hockey, and baseball to the pros and major events like the LPGA Marathon Classic, the 2016 World Series, the Fiesta Bowl, and the Ohio State-Michigan game.

Danielle’s work at WTOL received an Edward R. Murrow Award for Broadcast Excellence in sports reporting and two Emmy nominations. Prior to WTOL, she was a production assistant at Campus Insiders, now part of the Stadium umbrella. She helped with research, brainstorming segment ideas, scriptwriting, editing, and everything else needed to grow this constantly evolving digital platform sports site.

While at Columbia College Chicago, she was very involved with Windy City Webcast, the school’s online site that gives you weekly breakdowns of Chicago sports, entertainment, and news. My storytelling at Columbia attained two National Academy of Arts and Sciences Midwest chapter Silver Pillar award (student Emmy) nominees, one of which won the sports category.

Dwyer also spent a summer as a sports intern for Fox 29 Philadelphia and spent two years at NAB Show in Las Vegas working for Waskul TV Entertainment. Prior to that, she worked in advertising and marketing for two years as a planner/buyer of traditional and digital media for John Deere co-op, Kimberly-Clarke, and BRP/Can-Am.
