She learned to anchor, shoot, write, edit, and produce a complete newscast. Anderson got her first AP award in Mississippi for the story about “Blackface.”
She has interned at different venues such as WCIA and the Big Ten Network. Now in the community, you can find her young mentoring girls. Jasmine is an excellent member of the National Black Journalist Association. When Jasmine has time, her journey can be found, new restaurants are visited, her Thunder cheers up and her family and friends spend time with her. She hopes to engage in outside work with the community.
