Additionally, she attained the Verizon 2012 Hopeline Hero Award, which went to SisterCare, a shelter for battered women and their children. In 2011, she was a nominee for the Palmetto Center for Women’s Tribute to Women in Industry. In addition, the award is given to women whose extraordinary achievements distinguish them as business and community leaders and role models.
