Throughout his career, she has won several honors and awards for her outstanding work as an anchor/reporter. In the years 2012 and 2010, the Associated Press honored Walsh as “Best News Anchor in Alabama” for her incredible anchoring work on WKRG News 5. After half a decade, she was named “Anchor of the Year 2014” by the Alabama Broadcasters Association. When it comes to her education, she is a proud alumnus of The University of Notre Dame and the McGill-Toolen Catholic High School.
