Anglin joined the University of North Texas in Denton after completing her studies at Trimble Tech High School in the year 1983. She enrolled in the journalism program, where she enjoyed classes like Broadcast News. In this capacity, she prepared mock newscasts and Voice Diction, where she successfully lost her “Texan Twang.” In 1988, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
