Erica recently joined 12 News from Boston25 News, a FOX station in Boston. She covered the arrest of Aaron Hernandez, was on the scene when the Watertown manhunt broke out following the Boston Marathon bombings and reported from the side of the highway during the first snowstorm to shut down transport in the Commonwealth during her six years as a part-time reporter there.
Erica also contributed to Boston25’s opioid coverage with a report highlighting the issue’ silver lining: a surge in organ donors. Erica won her first Emmy for that story.
Erica earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in 2002. She began her journalism career on the assignment desk at WJAR shortly after. She then went on to serve as an anchor and reporter for a cable news station in Fall River, Massachusetts, before coming to WLNE to do the same.
Because her family comes first, Erica only works part-time at 12 News. Her full-time work, she claims, is caring for her husband and three young children. Erica is a member of their school’s PTO and leads multiple small groups at their church. She enjoys working out and cooking in her spare time.
