She was unable to get a job with TV News when she graduated with her accounting degree. So she got a post-graduate internship at ABC News, which led to a job at WABC and NBC Nightly News behind the scenes. It was the best training she could have had, and where her passion for telling compelling and impactful stories really grew. When coming to her education, she is a grad of Florida A&M University, she studied accounting.
Her first job on-air was in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as an Anchor and Reporter. Then, as an Anchor and Reporter in Jacksonville, she returned to my home state of Florida, where for the first time she began wearing her natural hair on television.
