He was born in India and moved to Woodland with his family when he was nine years old, where they now reside. Gurajpal began his media career as an MMJ at KUMV-TV in Williston, North Dakota, before moving to the Biggest Little City. He studied the oil business and the effects of hydraulic fracturing on the population of Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana for a year and a half.
Gurajpal earned his bachelor’s degree in 2014 from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). He learned a lot throughout his time at CSUF from his experiences with Titan Sports Recap, OC News, Daily Titan, Tusk Magazine, Titan Radio, and a specialized reporting class that took him to Guatemala to cover the country’s living circumstances, health care system, and cultural trends.
Gurajpal enjoys playing basketball and rooting for the San Francisco 49ers, Giants, and Los Angeles Lakers while he is not at work. The Sacramento Kings are his second favorite team to watch!
