Battah is a proud alumnus of the University of Missouri in Columbia. She graduated from the university in the year 2015 with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. During her stint at the university, she worked as the Missouri School of Journalism Ambassador and attended the Chancellor’s Leadership Class. She was also part of the Society of Professional Journalists as well as the Radio Television Digital News Association. Battah also worked for the campus TV station, MUTV, where she covered sports. Her first story was about the Mizzou volleyball team featuring the newest players.
