Before joining CBS2, she was the weekend anchor/reporter for WBAY-TV Green Bay, WI.
While at WBAY-TV, Sanchez also hosted and moderated “Teen Connection,” a live, hour-long show for Wisconsin Public Television in Green Bay. She also hosted a number of the station’s award-winning documentaries. Before her work in Green Bay, Sanchez was a news cut-in anchor and assistant producer at WISN-TV in Milwaukee.
She has achieved recognition for her work, earning a Midwest Emmy award, an award from the Wisconsin Broadcast Association, and a CINE Golden Eagle award. Sanchez has also received awards for hosting “The Discovery of Dawn,” an emotional documentary on one young woman’s battle with Anorexia Nervosa. When coming to her education, she attended the Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI where she received a B.A. in broadcasting and electronic communications.
