Milford, United States is his native home. When the horrific EF3 tornado was on June 1st, 2011, a few minutes later, she was the first reporter live on the scene in the south end of Springfield, Massachusetts, and her coverage contributed to an Emmy award-winning newscast.
Furthermore, she attained six awards from the CT Society of Professional Journalists in 2016, for reporting on a wide range of issues such as; a fan investigation into state and federal funding of Connecticut’s highway service patrol fleet, and a series of profiling fell law enforcement officers.
Gertrude O. Lewis Humanitarian Society which is the highest honor bestowed by the Connecticut Humane Society, and was named one of Connecticut Magazine’s “40 Under 40,” inducted her in 2016. She attended and graduated proudly from Southern Connecticut State University and in 2006, she was Miss Connecticut and represented our state at the Miss America Pageant.
