The Central Pennsylvania native has broadcasted various topics at abc27. One of his favorite assignments was during the aftereffects of Superstorm Sandy. He did the “Operation Sandy Relief” reports, where he went to the Jersey Shore to witness the ruin and speak with those impacted.
Crummel spearheaded a big collection drive alongside Mission Central in Mechanicsburg to give the victims much-needed clothing and other supplies. Away from the newsroom, he volunteers with the American Literacy Corporation. He is happy to be a part of the abc27 news team which he grew up watching.
