Jaron discovered his passion for broadcasting while listening to local sports talk radio during his lunch break at Oklahoma City Community College, where he was studying business and finance. Jaron then focused his efforts on obtaining a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
He transferred to the University of Oklahoma after completing his Associate’s Degree and obtained hands-on training that helped him get to where he is now.
Jaron graduated from OU in the spring of 2018 and began working as a reporter for KFDX in June of that year. Jaron was promoted to weekend anchor in December 2019 after working at KFDX for a year and a half. Jaron was promoted to morning anchor again in June of 2020.
