Prior to Indiana, he worked at stations in Sioux City, Green Bay, and most recently for 8 great years in Oklahoma City. During his time as a Sooner, Wells specialized in covering crime stories and spent nearly every day at the “cop shop.”
Wells also won an Emmy for reporting the deadly May 20th, 2013 tornado when several kids died inside Plaza Towers Elementary school. Jesse is also an avid movie buff. “Movies aren’t that different from news,” Jesse explains. “They’re both centered on people and their stories.
